Atùndà's Research Centre
Atùndà studies traditional African economic structures and adapts them into modern sustainable business models.
Our Methodology
The Atùndà research methodology is guided by three principles drawn from our core model:
Recreate
We conduct field studies, oral history documentation, and historical analysis to recover the indigenous economic mechanisms that have sustained African communities across generations. Community knowledge keepers, elders, and communipreneurs are our primary sources.
Reinvent
We work alongside local thought leaders to translate recovered knowledge into practical, culturally grounded enterprise frameworks — not borrowed models adapted for Africa, but frameworks built from African foundations outward.
Rebirth
Every insight we generate is returned to the communities that produced it — accessible, actionable, and owned by the people it was always meant to serve.
Our Research Areas
Investigating the core components of historical and contemporary African commerce.
Future Research Direction
Paving the way for the next phase of indigenous economic exploration.
